First wedding of 2019, y’all! I can’t believe we are starting our seventh year of photographing weddings. That doesn’t seem possible. Who would have thought that when we picked up cameras in our college yearbook room (and shot in full Auto mode) that we would end up here! We have photographed the first day of over fifty marriages – we are so honored! There is a large part of me that wants to make a gallery wall of all of our J&L couples so I can just sit and stare at all of you beautiful people and remember the joy of your wedding days! What do you think – should I do it?
Speaking of joy – let’s talk about Allison & Eduardo. First thing I heard when I walked into the getting ready area on their wedding day? Laughing. And it didn’t stop – these two are so generous, so joyful, so kind, so thoughtful, and so in love with each other. Both of us and the videographer told them multiple times that they made our job so easy – they were so laid back and fun! My favorite moment may have been when the guests were lined up for the grand exit and we realized that they had never done the bouquet toss — so all the single girls came running back inside as Allison announced, “PLOT TWIST!” Love it.
Allison & Eduardo, we are over-the-moon happy for you both! We can’t wait to see your story continue. We love you!
We are so honored to work with such a talented creative team.
Thank you to all for your beautiful work!
